Moonshine Marketing, has launched what promises to be a major fund-raising initiative.

This message from Moonshine's CEO Chris Pomeroy:

Initially we planned to ask each one of our clients to donate a trip for 2 people (the type that is usually intended for press trips or for consumer promotions) and to create a simple website to publicise these trips and run an online auction. The idea was very simple and limited to our clients. But then word got out...first we shared our idea with an online community of tourism professionals (www.turismo20.com) where the reaction was spectacular and as a consequence we already have 30 trips for auction before even having proposed the idea to our clients.

We are pleased that the Vienna Tourist Board has appointed us to carry out extra pr projects for this Austrian capital. ‘Vienna is obviously known as a wonderful destination of grandeur, Wiener Kugeln chocolate, Mozart and stunning architecture. ‘However, the downside of this image is that youngsters perceive it to be a rather boring destination,’ says Agnes van Duffelen of Baltus Communications. INTERVIEW PR AT THE CHINA TRADER AWARD 2007

After the great success of the first two editions, Interview PR has supported the organization of the third China Trader Award, the competition promoted by Cathay Pacific to reward Italian SMEs that have distinguished themselves in commercial and industrial relationships in China and Hong Kong markets.

A jury composed by experts in economic and institutional relationships among Italy, China and Hong Kong has rewarded the three finalists during a gala dinner held on last January, 21st of January 2008, in the sumptuous frame of the Four Seasons Hotel in Milan.

A very successful event, that has involved all Italian and Hong Kong partners of Cathay Pacific, besides a lot of representatives of the national press.

Special guest of the event, Mrs. Yue-Sai Kan, international television star and immensely successful businesswoman.

NESSIE VISITING PARIS

In order to promote VisitScotland in France, TQC Agency came up with a refreshing idea.
It is not the first time that a film is recorded in the beautiful landscapes of Scotland. Therefore a link was made between the recently released film "The Waterhorse – Legend of the Deep" and VisitScotland. The Scottish Tourism Board had already collaborated earlier with Sony Pictures for the film The Da Vinci Code in 2004.

The story of The Waterhorse is about a boy who finds, close to a lake, an egg that doesn’t turn out to be just like any regular egg. The creature that comes out of it strangely looks a lot like the monster of Loch Ness…

McCluskey International has been appointed by the England cricket team’s twelfth man, the world-famous Barmy Army, to implement a wide-ranging PR strategy with immediate effect.

SKYEUROPE CREATED WORLD RECORD IN NUMBER OF KISSES

More than 2200 kisses on board of SkyEurope flights on 14th February
In order to give Love is in the air a literal meaning, a special ‘Kiss and get a free ticket’ campaign was organised for our client low cost carrier SkyEurope on all their flights on February 14th, Valentine’s Day. By means of free publicity and an ad campaign couples were triggered to book a SkyEurope flight for Valentine’s day to any of SkyEurope’s destinations and when they would give each other a kiss on board each couple got one free ticket in return.
More than 2200 kisses were recorded. No other airline has ever attempted to create a world record in kissing in European airspace before. All 14 SkyEurope aircraft on 84 flights with 31 crews in total has been involved in this unique project called KISS EUROPE. SkyEurope celebrated 6th anniversary of its first flight by bringing love in the air and creating world record in number of kisses in the skies.
